Infrastructure, payment, app-store, AI-generation, or field-support providers may apply their own terms to their services, but support activity alone does not make a provider a joint party to your Pawpi agreement.
These Terms do not limit mandatory consumer, privacy, or app-store rights. Governing-law and dispute terms for a broad paid launch will be finalized through legal review for each launch jurisdiction.
Acceptance And Eligibility
You must be 14 or older to join Pawpi. By continuing after reading the invitation joining notice, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines and confirm that you are at least 14. Signing in with Google, Apple, or email does not verify your age or animal-welfare activity.
When invitation-only access is enabled, maps and cards are available to members who complete joining with a valid invitation. An invitation does not guarantee identity or safety. Invite people you trust and report concerns. Pawpi records who invited whom, but inviting someone does not grant control over their account or automatically make you legally responsible for them.
Pawpi does not store a birth date for this confirmation. It records the joining-notice version, language, time, and minimum age confirmed, and preserves previously confirmed age ranges. Marketing and optional analytics consent remain separate from joining.
KYC, Care roles, separately approved exact-location access, and conditional settlement or payouts are available only to adults 18 and older. Age and the separate processing terms are confirmed again when those features begin.
Users ages 14–17 must not publish their own or an animal's exact location, school, home address, contact details, or other identifying information. Purchases that require a parent, guardian, or app-store family approval must follow the store's approval process.
You may file an urgent animal or human safety report before accepting the full Terms. By sending a report, you grant the limited permission needed for operators to process its photo, description, and location privately under the report-specific privacy and evidence notice.
Keep your account, sign-in links, and device access secure and provide accurate information. You may not use another person's account or identity.
Animal And Location Safety
Pawpi is not an emergency rescue service or veterinary provider. Contact local emergency, animal-welfare, or veterinary services first when there is immediate danger.
Do not expose exact locations; stage photos by chasing, baiting, or moving animals; encourage unsafe contact; or interfere with care. Unauthorized capture, relocation, medication, treatment, and entry onto private property are also prohibited. Exact-location access and verified Care roles may require separate KYC and operator approval.
User Content And AI Cards
Submit only animal photos you took or are authorized to use and information you reasonably believe is accurate. Do not upload unnecessary personal data such as faces, license plates, home addresses, identity documents, or contact details.
You grant Pawpi a non-exclusive permission to process submitted content for service operation, card generation, duplicate-animal review, safety review, storage, and display. You retain ownership of your content.
Each issued card permanently carries either the unique public @handle selected at submission or an account-specific anonymous Creator code for a private profile. The signature is not an email, legal name, or internal user id, and changing a profile or handle does not alter an already issued card image.
Signed-in users who accept the current policies and have an eligible entitlement may create cards and keep them in My Dex. Personal pet cards remain private. With consent to automatic Outside publication, cards that meet safety, account-restriction, and public-media conditions can appear on the map and public Dex and become collectible without a separate Field Contributor appointment. Animal-identity review may still be pending when a card is collected with a Shared Care allocation. Exact locations and source photos are not published. Safety, rights, or account concerns may restrict publication or require operator review.
AI-generated cards are collectible representations based on source photos. They do not provide veterinary advice or prove animal ownership, First Finder eligibility, or a rescue outcome.
Prohibited Conduct And Enforcement
Animal abuse or harassment, dangerous feeding or baiting, unauthorized capture, relocation or medication, poison or illegal traps, trespassing, interference with responders, exact-location misuse, staged sightings or rescue outcomes, fraud, impersonation, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, intellectual-property infringement, payment manipulation, automation abuse, and security bypasses are prohibited.
To protect animals and users, Pawpi may hide or remove content, restrict exact-location, Care, or payment features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report matters to appropriate authorities. KYC is never required merely to file a report.
Card Passes, Cards, And Financial Rights
A Card Pass is a non-cash digital entitlement used to create a Creator card or collect a published Supporter Edition. It is not cash, cryptocurrency, or an investment and grants no care-pool claim, animal ownership, yield, buyback, or resale-profit promise.
A Creator-card purchase pays for the digital generation, storage, review, and operation of the service and does not promise an allocation to a particular animal or shared Care fund. Any Care allocation attached to a Supporter Edition is disclosed separately at purchase under the applicable policy.
Treats and ad rewards do not automatically become general Card Passes or care revenue. Card ownership is never a condition for a Care role, exact-location access, First Finder status, or cash compensation.
Paid features are subject to the applicable app-store billing and refund rules, Pawpi's Refund Policy, and fraud or chargeback review.
Beta, Changes, And Disclaimers
Invited-beta features may change, pause, or contain errors and delayed data. Pawpi may lock a capability immediately for safety.
To the extent allowed by law, Pawpi does not promise uninterrupted service, a particular card result, rescue outcome, trading value, or payout. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
